How much will it cost?
The average cost is between £15,000 to £40,000 excluding local authority fees, sanitary ware, specialist floor finishes, ceramic tiles and decorating.

How long does it take?
Converting the loft usually takes between four and six weeks. A new roof can also be added within this time scale.

Will we need to move out?
No, there is no need, in most cases the bulk of the work is done through the roof. We try to cause as little disruption to your home as possible, although the day the stairs are fitted is a good day to go out!

What guarantees do you offer?
DJB Lofts Company offer a five year with an insurance backed option from Lloyds of London extending the period to 10 years, costing 3% of the contract price

Our Eco-Loft conversions are specifically designed from the outset with environmental sustainability in mind. We achieve this by using sustainable materials, sourced locally wherever possible.

Sustainable Timber
100% of the timber used in our loft conversions is FSC or PEFC certified, sourced from sustainably managed forests.

Efficiency Rated Insulation
Good insulation in your loft will reduce your energy consumption, reducing your own environmental impact and saving you money on heating bills. DJB Lofts uses high-performance insulating board which is CFC/HCFC free.

Solar Heated Water
Landmark Heating, part of the Landmark Group, have worked to develop an affordable system, specifically designed to work efficiently in our climate. Using the very latest vacuum tube technology, this exclusive solar hot water system can provide almost all of your hot water during the summer months and over 50% on average throughout the year, typically reducing your carbon emissions by 0.4-0.75 tonnes per year.
